About One in Him Foundation

Johan and Brenda Toet were called by the Lord in 2016 to dedicate their lives fully to the Gospel. Before God grabbed a hold of Johan in prison in 2005, they both lived completely in darkness. They were lost in a world of drugs and crime.

They were detained for years, but nowadays they travel the world together to witness everywhere in the darkness of the living God. They commit to make disciples of Jesus and they do this, among others, by holding mission trips out of their own project in Brazil. Aside from this, they yearly organize multiple open-air campaigns in both slums as other areas worldwide, to reach people with the Gospel.

Johan and Brenda feel the fiery calling of God to reach as many people as possible with the Gospel in the shortest amount of time possible and to share in the needs of others. This forms the heart of their ministry. This is how Johan and Brenda give God’s love hands and feet with their foundation, in Word and in deed.

Preach the Gospel

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

We took that call very seriously and immediately founded the One in Him Foundation. That we are called to go into the world and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to all creation was quickly very clear to us. We ourselves come out of a life full of darkness and know like no other what it’s like to be completely lost. That’s why our heart burns for the broken, the lost, for those nobody cares about. We go into the poorest slums and other areas over the whole world to preach the Gospel to them. Aside from that, we have also been given the command to equip the saints.

Become equipped

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

We do this through open air crusades, One Events, One Basics (online) Bible studies and our mission trips which we organize multiple times a year out of our own mission house in Brazil. Many lives are transformed because of our ministry, people are set free, delivered and healed. That is the Gospel which we preach, that is what the One in Him Foundation stands for. We give hands and feet to God’s love in this way, both in Word and in deed!
